The annual CIBC Robbie Robinson was recently played. There were 24 entries that played in 6 groups of 4. Players each played 3 games consisting of 2 five end sets with an extra 3 end set in the event of a tie. The winner of each group plus the best two runners up played in the last 8 knock out rounds.
In the quarter finals David Mann beat Brian Finney. Geoff King beat Dan Rodger. Elliot Mann beat Ed Mercer and Andrew Penfold beat Pam Smith.
In the semi finals Geoff King beat David Mann 14-7 and Elliot Mann won 17-8 against Andrew Penfold.
Elliot Mann proved too strong for Geoff King in the final winning every end except one with a final score of 14-1.
