It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eddie Hawkins, who passed away on Monday, 6 July.
Eddie had been a valued member of Colchester Indoor Bowls Club since 2013 and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Our thoughts and condolences are with Eddie’s family and friends at this difficult time.
Eddie’s funeral service will take place on Monday 27th July at 1:30pm at Three Counties Crematorium, Halstead Road, High Garrett, Braintree, CM7 5PB.
Following the service, everyone is warmly invited to join Eddie’s family and friends for the wake at Braintree Bowling Club, from 2:00pm.
As this is a celebration of Eddie’s life, the family kindly requests that those attending wear bright and colourful clothing.
Please note: If you are a Colchester Indoor Bowls Club member and plan to attend, please let the club know in advance so that we can provide the family with an accurate estimate for catering numbers. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
