Ladies drive and afternoon tea – details.
Hello all,
I’m so looking forward to our social event on 26th September. If you haven’t signed up yet, there are a few places left before we meet an absolute maximum of 96 playing places. We could accommodate a few more for just the afternoon tea (£8). If you’d like to come along, but not play, I could do with a couple of helpers to ensure the smooth running of the event. Please sign up by 12th September. Thanks.
The day: We will be running two bowls sessions; on arrival at 2pm, you will either be playing, or enjoying the splendid afternoon tea I know Mark will put on for us. Then swapping. Thank you for being flexible about this, I cannot meet individual requests to play in the first / second session. It’s my first time running such an event and I’m thrilled about how many of you have chosen to join us.
Dress: bowls casual (club shirts not required).
Raffle: prizes, including cakes, most gratefully received. Who wouldn’t love to win a cake! (please include ingredients list). Please bring a little cash to buy a ticket too. Proceeds of the raffle will go to support our growing Junior Bowls section.
