Potters Week.
We took 80 people to Potters this year, mainly from CIBC but a few from West Mersea, Ipswich and Dovercourt & Harwich.
The Bowls tournament consisted of 70 teams and we fielded 16 of them.
All the bowlers did well and the members should be very proud of the way they represented the club.
We had 8 teams in the final 16
Then 5 teams in the quarter finals
3 in the semi finals
With 1 in the final.
Congratulations to Tom & Sheila Smith, Martin Hogg, Francis Smith and Heather Tokley who were the tournament winners.
Unfortunately Francis was taken ill and Heather, who did not intend on bowling this year, stepped in and bowled extremely well. So a huge thank you to Heather.
All our bowlers did well and everyone (hopefully) had a good time.
Thank you all for making my job as organiser easy.
Jenny Johnson.
